Our Mission
Build a statewide system of support to ensure people thrive in the face of adversity.
We believe hope and healing can conquer adversity.
The Idaho Resilience Project is committed to collaborating and partnering with communities across the state to create supportive environments that nurture hope and resilience and where everyone can thrive. Our focus lies in advancing resilient and trauma-informed education, providing opportunities for community capacity building, and helping to enhance the overall well-being and resilience of Idahoans. By fostering personal connections within communities, IRP works to support individuals, leaders, and organizations to connect and work together.
We prioritize expanding and improving training, learning, and community-led capacity building initiatives, tailoring our approach to meet the needs of different communities and collaborating to support the well-being of their youth and families. We advocate for evidence-based practices that have demonstrated success in Idaho, with a particular focus on promoting H.O.P.E. (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences) that emphasizes preventive strategies and early interventions. By prioritizing H.O.P.E., we aim to decrease the need for higher-level interventions, reduce adverse childhood experiences, and ultimately cultivate healthier and more resilient communities statewide.
